There is something stimulating about preparing and having breakfast in the morning sun.

This experience – and others like it – helps make the Hudson a draw. The 1,435 square foot townhouse model is featured as a show home at Central by Partners in the community of SkyView Ranch, northeast Calgary.

There is an attached garage on the ground floor and two floors of converted space above.

At the garage level is a space that can be used for various purposes. With enough square footage for a desk, chair, and shelving, people who work from home will see this area as a useful home office. Its location, removed from the main level, offers valuable privacy when clients or co-workers show up.

The house is shown with three bedrooms, but buyers have the option of choosing a two-bedroom version instead.

Large sliding glass doors that access a rear-facing balcony and a window along the back wall fill the kitchen and adjacent dining area with natural light.

The kitchen is open plan and highlighted by a substantial island with a sink and wet bar that can accommodate at least four people. This space is ideal for support tasks related to meal preparation and for visitors to sit and chat.

The show house’s kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including an elegant chimney-style extractor fan and a French-door refrigerator.

Those with a large collection of kitchen utensils will appreciate the generous volume of the full height cabinets with soft-close doors and drawers.

The dining room exits, enhancing the architectural interest of the main level. Taking it a step further, this space is ideal for the homeowner to use for one or more walls as an accent wall.
