First, remove the excess oil from the stain with a piece of paper towel.
Then cover the stain with baking soda and let sit for an hour.
After letting the stain sit for an hour, prepare a bowl of lukewarm water and a capful of laundry detergent.
Use a toothbrush to rub the mixture over the stain.
Finally, throw the garment in your washing machine on a normal cycle, and it will come out like new.
Mold but gold
When you see mold on clothes, it’s easy to think of the garment as clothing – but Carolina has a smart hack to get rid of this problem.

She begins the mold release process by sautéing the t-shirt in a bowl with half a cup of Borax and a quarter cup of hydrogen peroxide.
Then she adds hot water and lets the t-shirt soak in the mixture for a few hours.
Then you can just run the garment in the washing machine, but it is essential to use vinegar in place of fabric softener.
When the t-shirt comes out of the machine, it is mold free and like new.

She also recommends adding between five and ten drops of essential oil, but this step is completely optional.
Then you simply use this solution with a microfiber mop, wipe in the direction of the grain to avoid streaks, and your floors will sparkle.
She points out that a small part of the solution goes a long way and that you shouldn’t soak your floors in liquid.
